America has some fantastic with great food but you don't need to pay top dollar to eat top meals. It is more than realistic to cook these restaurant meals in the comfort of your own home for a fraction of the cost.

1. Chicken Giardino. This dish is usually enjoyed in the Olive Garden restaurants and consists chicken and vegetables mixed in a mouth watering sauce. The sauce is created by melting 1 table spoon of butter in a pan and. Stir in thyme, garlic pepper and rosemary and whisk to thoroughly blend, cook for 1 minute. You then combine the chicken broth, wine, milk, water and lemon juice in a mixing bowl and whisk corn starch in until there is no lumps. Add both mixtures to a pan and bring to the boil. Marinate the chicken in a mixing bowl with quarter of a cup of olive oil, rosemary sprigs, garlic and lemon juice. Sautee the chicken until cooked and throw in any vegetables and pasta and cook for a further couple minutes. Serve and garnish with parsley.

2. Pizza hut creamy Italian dressing is a great dressing available at every pizza hut but it is surprisingly easy to make. Crumble rosemary, basil, thyme and oregano in a bowl and stir in vinegar, pepper and salt and lemon juice. Mix in Mayo and olive oil and stir in Parmesan cheese and that's about it. Store in an air tight jar.

3. KFC Chicken. The secret recipe has been a secret for years. It is a very simple recipe. The chicken should be soaked in water for 30 minutes. While you are waiting for that you can make the coating. Mix an egg and a cup of milk in a bowl and in another bow mix pepper, salt, msg and flour. Heat soybean oil in a deep fat fryer. Remove the chicken from the salted water and dry with a paper towel. Dip the chicken in the flour mix and then place in the fryer. Fry the chicken as you would any other.

There is no point venturing out to restaurants when you can cook the same thing at home.
